The empty Scrambler
Remember when I got the photograph of the Scrambler with those two kids at a fair last year? Ok, here’s the counterpoint… an empty Scrambler, just before the park closes. It belongs to my empty fairs project…

Review with Mary Ellen Mark
As I had mentioned a few days ago, I had a portfolio review with the legendary Mary Ellen Mark in Berkeley yesterday. It was a very pleasant surprise to find a sensitive, down to Earth, normal human being
My time with her was really productive, and she dedicated a lot of time to each one of us. She is a wonderful teacher and I am sure that she gets a lot back from her students. She’s an amazing editor, gives very thoughtful and incisive criticism, and I find her to be very observant. She is also very direct and straight forward, but not in a harsh way. She connects to people beautifully and is very engaging. No wonder her photographs are so captivating and amazing…
Anyway, all in all, it was a great time, had the chance to meet very talented photographers, and she was very supportive of my work and loved my portfolios! So nothing is gonna stop me now! :)
If you are a photographer, and have the chance to take a class with her, do it. You will not regret it.
A few singles
I was organizing and editing my photos, as I’ve been shooting so much lately, and I found a few photographs that I had completely forgotten I had, and I really like, so I’m sharing them with you. I have been thinking what to do with all the singles I have, that for some reason, never made the cut, or are just single shots that do not belong in any portfolio, and I might make a book one day with all of them… one day…
