Be patient

While I update the blog. I had to change the template because the photos did not fit in the other one, so I decided to change the design. It will take me a couple of days to redesign the whole thing, rearrange the photos, upload them again, etc, so it’ll probably be ready by Sunday. Come back soon! ;)

Obama

Donations

Hello there!!

I’ve been really busy with a lot of things in my life, so I really am trying to keep up to date with everything. Today I went to Palo Alto to photograph a rally for Obama, where people were asked to call other voters in swing states. Volunteers are in high demand, specially those who speak Spanish to try to capture more votes in New Mexico, Nevada or Colorado. I signed up for it, so I might be traveling to one of these states next weekend to convince people that we need to go out and vote, for Obama, of course! :) because it’s the only way we can make a difference in this world. There are only 10 days left and it’s coming down to just a few states… so I really hope that people go out and vote. More than our right, it’s an obligation that we have as citizens. I posted a few photos I took for my Photojournalism class at Stanford, as the topic this week is news and the election. Hope you enjoy… Peace.

Apple pickers

This was the last assignment we got, and the best one! I really enjoyed my time photographing these men. I was paired with Daniela, a great girl from Costa Rica, with whom I became friends and we really had a blast. All these people come from Jamaica and they work here during the apple season. They are also farmers back home and they are really good at what they do. This shooting reassured my idea of doing a project on farmers here in California… now I have to get the access and… shoot away! Anybody knows someone who can grant me access? :)

Fryeburg’s fair

One of the trips we took as part of the class was to the county fair in Fryeburg, the biggest one in Maine. I was really happy to hear we would be visiting a fair and I could add photos to my fair project! And we were super lucky, as we went there on Senior’s Day. So, enjoy!

I’m back!

Hello! After a grueling week in Maine, I am finally back home. The workshop was great! A lot of instruction, shooting very cool places, and hanging out in a beautiful place. Here are some photos I took there. I am not going to travel until December, but I will keep posting photos from my local trips :)

Thanks for all your support! I got a lot of feedback from you and I really appreciate it! Look forward to hearing from you. Eleo :)
